FOOD LAW
The food trading market is extremely demanding and highly competitive. For several years now, food law in Poland has been treated as a separate discipline with a significant area of regulation of food safety and quality. Food hygiene, labelling, advertising, and presentation are of fundamental importance here. Dietary supplements and foodstuffs for special nutritional purposes play a special role. It should be borne in mind that these products are subject to separate regulation as regards their labelling and conditions for their marketing. Taking into account the high requirements set by the market, the Office provides professional advice and multi-level support to its Clients.
We offer:
- conducting permanent supervision over the compliance with food law in the Client’s enterprise
- drawing up an opinion on the labelling, presentation, and advertising of foodstuffs
- verifying the correctness of the legal qualification of the product
- preparation and verification of documents necessary to properly notify the product to the Chief Sanitary Inspector
- advice and assistance in formulating answers to enquiries of the Chief Sanitary Inspector and representing Clients in all proceedings before the competent authorities
- assisting with the control of official food control bodies
- preparing answers to objections issued by the Agricultural and Food Quality Inspectorate or the State Sanitary Inspectorate
- preparing complaints against decisions of the authorities, both to the Province Administrative Court (WSA) and to the Supreme Administrative Court (NSA)
