Agnieszka Bieniek

Attorney-at-law and a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Her master’s thesis entitled „Legal status of a person sentenced to imprisonment” she prepared and defended in 2009 under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Andrzej Marek at the Criminal Law and Criminology Department. She started her professional career during her studies in one of the law offices in Toruń, where she was dealing with the application of the criminal and civil procedure in various cases. From 2010 to 2012 she was working with one of the higher education institutions, looking into the cases related to education law, labour law, social security law, administrative proceedings law, public procurement law, civil law, and procedure. She also lectured European law and Misdemeanours law. In the years 2010 – 2012 she completed legal training, in 2013 passed her bar exam and finally was registered as a professional representative with the Toruń Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law. She has been working in the Ostrowski & Partners Law Firm since 2012. In her free time, she does a lot of sports: she enjoys climbing, practicing yoga, sailing, cycling. Keen on history, literature, and psychology, she loves hanging out with friends.

Specialization / professional interests

She focuses currently on labour and social security issues as well as on personal data protection related cases. She represents clients in various court disputes. Previously, she had been providing professional legal assistance in corporate restructuring, including mass layoffs processes. He has high negotiation skills, of which she makes good use especially while dealing with trade unions.
