Karolina Misiak

Attorney-at-law. Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Her master’s thesis entitled „Compensation for the death of an immediate family member” was written and defended under the academic supervision of Prof. Dr. Konrad Zacharzewski in the Department of Commercial Law in 2019. She was awarded the Rector’s scholarship for best students. She started her professional practice already during her studies at the law firm Ostrowski & Partners, where she dealt in particular with civil law and procedure as well as debt recovery. She completed her legal advisor’s apprenticeship in 2022 and, having passed the exam, was entered on the list of legal advisors maintained by the OIRP in Toruń in 2023. She has gained professional experience during her practice in court and in law firms, dealing in particular with civil, family and labour law cases. She also has experience in dealing with local government units. In her free time, she plays sport and dances.

At Ostrowski & Partners Law Firm, she is primarily involved in labour law, civil law and personal data protection cases, as well as litigation.
